Title VI - Civil Rights Act of 1964 - amended
Prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activites.
Title VII - Civil Rights Act of 1964
Prohibits discrimination in the areas of practices such as hiring, firing, wages, benefits or promotion.
Title IX - ESEA 1972
No person shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be dened the benifets of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity for which the institution receives federal funds. Specific sections apply to nondiscrimination in employment, athletics and other activities sponsored by the institution.
