Thank you all for your generous contributions to our gala basket.  A special thank you to Mrs. Waligura for all of her hard work in putting together the best basket at the gala.  Keep reading for those AR points.  Many of the students have reached their goal and many are very close.  Hang in there.   It is possible that we may have the Mass on Friday due to a death in Mrs. Tait's family.

Be sure that your child is working nightly on something related to school.  If they have no homework, then have your child read for that period of time.

Remember, if you or your child has any questions please call me.   733-9390

Our fine arts curriculum for the next six weeks or so will be Spanish.  We will cover basic vocabulary and some very simple conversation.

We are getting down to the line on AR points. I am trying everything I can to help them meet their AR goals.  If they do not meet their AR goals, they will be responsible for academic work to be completed on the day the other children are going to Schlitterbahn.  I hope that we all get to go.   Our cut off day for AR will be May 2.  Our trip to Schlitterbahn will be Thursday, May 22.
.
Bible Verse recitation due by Friday.  This is a very easy way to get a 100 in religion.  However, many of the children are not prepared to recite the verse and come in on Friday to quickly read over it.  What was meant to be a way of helping students is causing some of your students to get a D or an F in religion on a weekly basis.

ON THE SCIENCE, WHEN YOU SEE POP QUIZ, IT IS ALWAYS OVER THE PREVIOUS DAY'S MATERIAL.  THE POP QUIZ THEN CAN BE USED AS A STUDY TOOL.
